St Luke's indoor pool

Our 22.8 meter indoor swimming pool at St Luke’s Sports Centre is heated to a constant 29°c, is four lanes wide and 2.5 meters deep at the deep end.

During swim sessions, two lanes are put in place allowing areas for swimmers to choose their own pace. For private bookings and special events, starting blocks and swimming floats are also available.

The pool is also home to our acclaimed Learn to Swim programme, which helps over 700 children learn to swim every week. The swim school takes place throughout the week and follows the Amateur Swimming Association’s (ASA) guidelines and caters for children aged three years and over.

We also hold a number of pool-based adult education courses and Adult Swimming Lessons at St Luke’s pool.

Opening times

Open 7 days a week.
