AquaFit | Waterworks Aquafit is an effective total body workout, it brings all the benefits of moving in the water and combines them in an effective interval-based fitness class. It is a shallow water fitness programme suitable for all types of people. You don't have to be able to swim to participate. |
Fitness ClassesBodyAttack™ | BodyAttack™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. |
Fitness ClassesBodyBalance™ | In a BodyBalance™ class, you can expect to complete a range of moves and routines set to an inspired soundtrack. By monitoring your breathing throughout the class, you will be able to mentally and physically relax as you complete the movements. The carefully structured series of poses will improve your flexibility and core strength, whilst focusing your mind and creating a lasting sense of calm and wellbeing. |
Fitness ClassesBodyCombat™ |
BodyCombat™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door. |
Fitness ClassesBodyPump™ |
Les Mills BodyPump™ is a non-impact weights-based exercise class that works every major muscle group in the body, using weights, a bar and steps. High repetition with low weights means you strengthen, condition and tone your muscles quickly, so you’ll notice a real difference after just a few weeks. |
Boxing Circuit |
A circuit class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, plus using mitts and focus pads to sync boxing sequences. Oh and of course and healthy dose of bodyweight exercises to spice it up too! Oh nobody gets hit here but you do bring about all the conditioning benefits this training can give. |
Bootcamp |
Bootcamp is based around body weight and functional exercises. Aimed at improving cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Wake up and get the heart pumping |
Circuits |
A typical Circuits session may include Squats, Burpees, Press-ups, Sit-ups, Shuttles, Plank, VIPR's, Crawls and more. The class allows you to work at your own pace, whilst our instructor is on-hand to provide that extra bit of motivation to ensure you work to the best of your abilities. |
Core |
Using your own body weight and small pieces of equipment to strengthen the abdominal, paraspinal, gluteal, and pelvis muscles. This class will help support posture, improve stability and enhance your core region. |
Cycle Cross 2020 |
Combination of half indoor cycling and half full body movements with various equipment, making a maximum intensity interval class. You will burn a lot of calories, whilst improving strength and cardiovascular endurance. |
Float Fit |
Circuits meets surfing in our outdoor pool. Expect to work hard and get wet as you exercise your balance on our tethered floating boards – could this be the most fun way to work out? |
Free Weights Fitness |
Have you just started lifting free weights in the gym and want to gain some confidence with other likeminded individuals? Do you already have the knowledge on how to do squats and deadlifts and want to lift together with others in a motivational environment? Then Free Weights Fitness is for you. Put your knowledge of lifting to practice all taught in the privacy of the PTF. |
Kettlebells |
Work to the max with this all over body workout! The class features kettlebell training with a mixture of cardio intervals. |
Legs, Bums and Tums |
LBT is a high intensity workout, designed to shape up and burn fat as you lunge, squat and step. Including an aerobic warm up, HIIT and conditioning exercises, LBT is the perfect mix to target the thigh, bum and stomach areas. |

Inspired by elite athletic training principles, Les Mills Core™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do.

Pilates |
Core strength and flexibility are the major themes of Pilates, as you use light weights and stretching techniques to encourage good posture, greater balance and better mobility. |
Power 8 |
Interval sessions of ride 30 seconds on and 90 seconds off 8 times. Circuits 30 seconds on and 90 seconds off 8 times. Run by Tracey who will beast you. |
Ride |
Ride works the legs, heart and lungs - increasing endurance levels and pushing your performance thresholds. Motivational music and coach will help you climb the mountain as you rise out of the saddle for the ultimate cardio workout. |
Swim Fit |
Swim fit is a class which uses a mixture of strokes, speeds, lengths and exercises to provide a more varied way to workout and improve fitness rather than traditional lane swimming. The ability to swim at least 1000m is required. |
Total Body Conditioning |
Total body conditioning combines cardiovascular training with strength exercises to work a variety of muscle groups and improve both aerobic fitness and strength. With two high intensity rounds of work followed by periods of rest, the class includes a range of compound and isolated movements to provide full body fitness training.

Workout of the Day (WOD) |
Working all the way through Monday to Sunday, the programmed ‘workouts of the day’ bring 30-minute action packed classes to your time crunched days. Performed on the gym floor with your resident gym staff the rotation will ensure you can utilise this style of training to your advantage with all your energy systems challenged via our mixed modal training. Mon, Wed and Fridays will have a metabolic conditioning bias with Tuesdays and Thursdays challenging your strength spectrum. On the weekends we would love you to spend time outdoors with family and friends but if you do have a spare half hour then Saturdays WOD is great thing to do with friends prior to brunch and Sunday evening WOD is all about the engine – capacity work at its best and a great chance to clear the pipes before the week starts. |
WODROX |
Wodrox is our Workout of the Day that is inspired by ‘Hyrox’ The world series of fitness racing. Step up your fitness with a class that includes mixed modal training to challenge you in every session. A combination of running and eight different movements in every way you can imagine! |
Yoga |
Yoga will build up core strength as well as improving your posture, flexibility and confidence. Much more than just an exercise technique, Yoga cleanses the mind as well as strengthening the body. |
Zumba |
Zumba combines Latin and international music with fun and effective exercise. It involves all elements of fitness, cardiovascular, muscle condition, balance and flexibility. Join the Zumba party! |
Course Descriptions
Basics to Barbells |
A unique, 5 week women, women-identifying and non-binary only course designed to teach you how to add free weights into your workouts and perform these exercises with confidence, taught in the privacy of the PTF suite. The course can either be booked for Thursdays 4-5pm. |
Confidence with Cables |
A programme designed to teach you how to navigate the cable machines in the gym. There is a vast number of movements and attachments to use on these pieces of equipment and this course will teach you the basics of it all to get you confident with cables. Taught on the gym floor by one of our highly experienced health and fitness consultants. |
EmpowHER | Have you just started lifting free weights in the gym and want to gain some confidence with other like-minded individuals? Have you completed our 'Basics to Barbells' course and are looking for your next step? Then EmpowHER is for you. A 5 week class for those who identify as female lifting in a private gym space. Put your knowledge of lifting to practice and ensure your form is perfect! All are taught in the privacy of the PTF or the ADC. |
