Festival of Discovery

Join us for the Festival of Discovery

Join us on one of our campuses for a fortnight of events with a wide range of opportunities for you to discover more about what your University and its community has to offer.

The Festival of Discovery will provide you with a chance to re-engage with your study through a sporting programme of activities, with Free Gym Passes, Classes and Pitch up and Play sessions.

We will be using the Festival of Discovery to launch a pilot of our 'Pitch up and Play' initiative. Pitch up and play is the opportunity to try a new hobby or meet new people, they'll have lots of activities for you to get involved in.

All the events will take place on one of our Streatham and St. Lukes Campus and we’ll be working hard to keep you safe throughout the events by operating an events booking system and ensuring we adhere to the latest Government guidance on COVID-security.

A full schedule of bookable events can be found here.

Pitch up and Play

Social Sport offers a great way to get involved with non-competitive sports sessions with no weekly commitment. Each session has a student activator to welcome you, answer any questions and help you get involved. A great way to try something different and meet new people whilst getting active!
We are glad you asked! You can participate in any Social Sport activity or event if you are a student. Social Sport is normally a turn up and play programme but due to the pandemic numbers are currently restricted and you must therefore pre-book a place at each session. The booking process can be found here.
