University of Exeter Snooker and Pool Club

The Snooker and Pool club is a great club to join whether you are a national player or a complete beginner looking for a casual game.

We have two organised training sessions a week where you can play snooker, English 8-ball pool and American pool. Training is usually a casual affair, with members playing friendly frames against each other at the local snooker and pool hall, Riley’s, giving members the chance to get to know each other on a personal and competitive level.

Training is flexible; you can turn up as often as it suits you, with an internal snooker and 8-ball pool league run outside of training for more competitive practice. We also look forward to many socials held throughout the year, with the opportunity for everyone to play free pool and have a good time.

In the second term we send five or six teams to the national British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Pool and Snooker Championships where we always have a good chance of winning a medal. The club is now growing a reputation for producing national talents; three of our members play for England as a result of their performances last year.

So if you're looking to play an enjoyable, sociable sport, with or without a competitive edge, this is the club for you!
