University of Exeter Barbarians

Challenge the University of Exeter Barbarians to a charity clash and raise money for a good cause at the same time.

The Barbarians, made up of staff from across the University, were founded in memory of a colleague who passed away in 2005 and have played charity matches to raise money and awareness for charity ever since. We set up sports fixtures against businesses / charitable organisations with match fees going to the chosen charity for the year. The games are a lot of fun and not taken too seriously. During a match fines are handed out for various reasons; from being too good, playing too seriously, falling over, failing to celebrate or just simply because.

The Barbarians will consider playing any sport against any opposition. They pride themselves on being entertaining at everything! So why not throw down the gauntlet for a game of cricket, football or even tiddly winks?

The fixtures are friendly, but with a touch of competitiveness - the Barbarians don't like losing!

What can we do for you?

We can also arrange friendly fixtures between your company and a business of your choice. Or even a mini-tournament for you and your partners or clients.
