Corporate sports
We offer a number of corporate sports and activities. Working in partnership with Event Exeter we provide a fantastic corporate experience which can include sports, accommodation, hospitality and conference facilities.
There are many ways companies, businesses, organisations and individuals can get involved with our corporate sports programme.

Charity events
We organise well supported Varsity matches in a various sports plus take part in national events such as Sport Relief, Comic Relief and Children in Need.
Sports Office staff take part in charity events such as the London Marathon, Great West Run, Sport Relief mile, plus climbing mountains, cycle challenges and much more.
University of Exeter Barbarians
Challenge the University of Exeter Barbarians to a charity clash and raise money for a good cause at the same time.
The Barbarians, made up of staff from across the University, were founded in 2005 in memory of a colleague who died of cancer. He was in his 40s and left behind a wife and young family. In his memory the Barbarians have raised money every year since.
They set up sports fixtures against businesses with match fees going to their chosen charity for the year.
The games are a lot of fun and not taken too seriously. During a match fines are handed out for various reasons; from being too good, playing too seriously, falling over, failing to celebrate or just simply because.
The Barbarians will consider playing sport against any opposition. They pride themselves on being entertaining at everything! So why not throw down the gauntlet for a game of tiddly-winks, shin-kicking or even toe-wresting.
The fixtures are friendly, but with a touch of competitiveness - the Barbarians don't like losing!
