Charlotte graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2002, with an Honors degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences. After graduating, she worked within the leisure industry as a swimming teacher, lifeguard and gym instructor. Charlotte then went on to to work for the sports development department at the University of Plymouth for 3 years, until finally she joined the University of Exeter as AU Manager in 2005,
Competitions Coordinator - BUCS expert
Emily is responsible for overseeing British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) programmes at Exeter, whether that be weekly Wednesday fixtures or indivdual events throughout the season. She works closely with the BUCS team captains but is happy to help any student who wants to know more about BUCS. Her speciality lies with netball as a player, umpire and coach and basketball as an offical but she loves learning about how other sports work. Her favourite time is when the Sports Park is full of students getting involved with sport and physical activity and she loves using the facilities, especially the classes and the Russell Seal gym.

Athletic Union President - Student Expert
Amy graduated from Exeter in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) Psychology with Sport and Exercise Science degree. Having been voted in as AU President Amy's job is to be the voice of student sport and liaise with the AU staff, the GUILD and students across campus to ensure sport is accessible by everyone and maximise student satisfaction. As well as organising and running various events throughout the year (like sports varsities) and fulfilling her manifesto.
Finance Officer - Finance Expert
Chris graduated in 2012 with BA (Hons) in Marketing before going on to complete his MSc in Finance. Chris is your first point of call for any finance or communication related enquiries, working closely with many of the club treasurers and media secretaries. A passion for Rugby and all things sporting you will find him regularly using the amazing gym facilities the University has to offer.
Chris provides match day communication for the BUCS Super Rugby programmes so will be travelling with the EURFC 1XV most Wednesdays.
Health Wellness & Engagement Officer - Well-being Expert
Paul graduated in 1998 with a BA (Hons) degree in Leisure Management and Marketing. After spending several years in hospitality and retail management, returned to education to complete a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education and spent the following 5 years teaching Sport, leisure management and fitness related courses. Since joining the University in 2008 as Health, Wellness and Engagement officer, Paul has been responsible for implementing the Universities Health and Wellbeing programme as well as the Coach Educations Programme for staff, students and the local community.
Sports Development Officer - Club Expert
Steve graduated in 2016 with BA (Hons) in Sport and Social Sciences from the University of Bath. If you need any help regarding the development and growth of activities and opportunities or administrative support for your AU clubs, then Steve is your man. An avid footballer and sports fan, who enjoys the range of sports and activities that the Sports Park, Russell Seal Fitness Centre and St. Luke’s has to offer.

Sports Participation Officer
Lauren is responsible for the development of our social sport programme of events, to engage students of all standards. The main part of this being the administration of our comprehensive Intramural programme for students. This includes both weekly and one-off events throughout the year. Lauren has worked within the Leisure Industry as a Personal Trainer and Leisure Supervisor, spending a year in Australia working in Fitness First on Bondi Beach. Lauren has most recently spent almost 5 years with Active Devon, tackling inactivity across Devon and working alongside National Campaigns such as This Girl Can. Lauren joined the University of Exeter in September 2018 as the Sports Participation Officer to help work towards the Universities goal of having 70% of their student population active.
